What the Sharon Temple in Newmarket Ontario did here is not just a great use of shipping containers but a statement about the old and the new.
The temple is quite magnificent and I think they were quite brave to choose shipping containers for their exhibition centre. Choosing a symbol of modernism in contrast to this beautiful old building is striking.
